Nango (YC W23) lets developers build product integrations with AI. It enables applications to connect to the real world through integrations.

More than 500 paying customers rely on Nango today, including Replit & Ramp. We are a YC-backed, mid-seven-figure ARR company with a team of 14 from AWS, GitHub, Okta, Snyk, Netlify, Uber, Samsara, Workato, and other top-tier dev tools.

We are hiring a Founding Developer Growth Lead to make Nango known, trusted, and talked about by developers. Your job is to be deeply embedded in the SF AI/developer ecosystem, understand what builders are experimenting with, and turn that insight into demos, prototypes, use cases, content, events, community loops, and product ideas that resonate. You should be technical enough to build yourself and close enough to developer culture to know what feels exciting. You’ll work directly with the founders.

What You'll Do
  • Build Nango’s presence across the AI developer ecosystem through conferences, podcasts, meetups, technical communities, and social content.

  • Identify the conferences, events, podcasts, newsletters, and creators that matter—and earn Nango a seat on their stage, feed, or show.

  • Represent Nango at conferences, hackathons, meetups, and builder events by speaking, networking, and building lasting relationships.

  • Organize technical events, workshops, and meetups independently or alongside ecosystem partners.

  • Spot emerging trends around AI agents, MCP, tool calling, and API integrations, then turn them into demos, examples, content, events, and product ideas.

  • Build momentum around Nango by helping customers, partners, and developers share what they’re building.

  • Experiment with developer-native content across X, LinkedIn, GitHub, YouTube, blogs, and wherever technical builders spend their time.

  • Track what resonates—from conference conversations to content performance and event engagement—and continuously improve our developer outreach.

  • Bring developer insights, ecosystem trends, and competitive intelligence back to Product, Engineering, and Marketing to help shape our roadmap and positioning.

Who You Are
  • You’ve built software professionally and are comfortable writing code. You’re likely proficient in TypeScript, Python, or both.

  • You have experience building with AI products, agents, APIs, MCP, OAuth, or developer tooling, and enjoy staying on top of how the ecosystem is evolving.

  • You have a track record of creating things that developers actually use or pay attention to. That might be open-source projects, technical content, conference talks, workshops, demos, videos, newsletters, or a meaningful social following.

  • You’re comfortable representing a company publicly—whether that’s speaking at conferences, appearing on podcasts, hosting meetups, or engaging with developers online.

  • You know how developers discover and adopt new tools, and have good instincts for what earns credibility versus what feels like marketing.

  • You enjoy turning technical ideas into demos, examples, content, and events that help developers immediately understand a product.

  • You’re excited to spend time with developers in San Francisco, build relationships across the ecosystem, and become a trusted face of Nango.

  • You thrive in early-stage startups where you’ll define the playbook rather than follow one.
