Head of Influencer Marketing
🎨 About OpenArt

OpenArt is a gen AI creative platform used by millions worldwide. We’re building the next generation of creative tools powered by cutting-edge AI, enabling anyone to create videos, images, visuals, characters, and stories with unprecedented speed and imagination.

We believe the future of creativity is AI-native, and we’re shaping that future.

🚀 Why Join OpenArt
  • Own and scale one of OpenArt’s most important growth channels. You will set the strategy for how we partner with creators and turn influencer marketing into a major, repeatable growth engine.

  • Build the function from the ground up. You will define the playbook, team, systems, measurement, and partnerships required to scale influencer marketing globally.

  • Work at the intersection of AI and the creator economy. You’ll partner with creators who are defining entirely new ways to create and tell stories with AI.

  • Shape how creators talk about OpenArt. You will build long-term relationships with influential creators and turn our strongest partners into genuine advocates for the product.

  • High ownership, real impact. You will own strategy, budget, execution, and performance for the channel and work closely with OpenArt’s marketing and leadership teams.

🎯 About the Role

OpenArt is looking for a Head of Influencer Marketing to build and lead influencer marketing as a major growth channel for the company.

You will own the function end to end—from strategy, budgeting, and creator portfolio development to campaign execution, measurement, and team building. You’ll determine where we invest, which creators we build long-term relationships with, and how we scale winning partnerships across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, and emerging platforms.

This is not a traditional influencer marketing role focused primarily on awareness and impressions. We view creators as both a brand and performance channel. You will be accountable for building a creator program that drives measurable customer acquisition and revenue while strengthening OpenArt’s position within the global creator community.

The ideal candidate deeply understands the creator ecosystem and has previously owned and scaled influencer marketing as a meaningful growth channel. You combine strong creator instincts and relationships with a rigorous performance mindset. You know how to identify creators before everyone else does, structure partnerships that work for both sides, and use data to determine where to double down.

⚙️ What We’re Looking For

Core Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator marketing, or closely related roles, with a track record of owning and scaling influencer marketing as a meaningful growth channel

  • Experience setting influencer strategy and owning significant budgets, not simply executing individual campaigns

  • Deep understanding of the creator ecosystem and how creators build audiences, produce content, monetize, and make partnership decisions

  • Strong experience sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and managing creator partnerships end to end

  • Demonstrated ability to connect influencer investments to business outcomes, including acquisition, conversion, CAC, revenue, and ROI

  • Strong understanding of both performance-driven and brand-driven creator marketing

  • Experience building long-term creator relationships, not just transactional one-off sponsorships

  • Strong creative judgment and ability to recognize creators, content, and formats with breakout potential

  • Strong analytical capabilities and comfort making portfolio and budget decisions based on performance data

  • Experience managing people, agencies, or external partners, with the ability to build and lead a team as the function scales

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Highly hands-on and comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment

  • AI-native and deeply interested in how generative AI is changing content creation and the creator economy

Nice to Have

  • Experience building or substantially scaling an influencer marketing function from an early stage

  • Existing relationships with top creators, creator managers, talent agencies, and creator networks

  • Deep experience with YouTube and other long-form creator ecosystems

  • Experience with affiliate, ambassador, referral, or performance-based creator programs

  • Experience in AI, consumer subscription, creator tools, consumer technology, or creative software

  • Experience scaling creator programs internationally

🛠 What You’ll Do
  • Own Influencer Marketing: Set the overall strategy, goals, budget, and operating plan for influencer and creator marketing at OpenArt.

  • Build a Scalable Growth Channel: Develop a repeatable creator acquisition engine that can scale while maintaining strong CAC, conversion, revenue, and ROI.

  • Build the Creator Portfolio: Determine which creator segments, platforms, geographies, and partnership models OpenArt should invest in and continuously optimize the portfolio.

  • Develop Strategic Creator Relationships: Build deep, long-term relationships with high-impact creators, managers, agencies, and other key players in the creator ecosystem.

  • Create Breakout Campaigns: Develop creator-led campaigns and concepts that feel authentic to creators and their audiences while delivering measurable business results.

  • Own Budget and Performance: Allocate spend across creators and platforms, measure results rigorously, and continuously shift investment toward the highest-performing opportunities.

  • Build Long-Term Programs: Turn successful partnerships into recurring sponsorships, ambassadors, affiliates, and other durable creator relationships.

  • Develop New Growth Models: Experiment with new platforms, creator segments, compensation structures, affiliate models, content formats, and partnership approaches.

  • Partner Across OpenArt: Work closely with Growth, Product Marketing, Social, Community, Brand, Creative, and Product teams to integrate creators into major launches and campaigns.

  • Build the Function: Establish the processes, technology, measurement systems, and operating cadence needed to scale influencer marketing globally.

  • Build and Lead the Team: Hire and develop a high-performing influencer marketing team as the channel grows.

🌍 Work Setup
  • Based in San Carlos, CA. Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

  • We could also consider remote.
