SentiLink supports a variety of ways to work, ranging from fully remote to in-office. We operate as a digital-first company with strong collaboration across the U.S. and India. We maintain physical offices in Austin, San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Chicago in the U.S., and in Gurugram (Delhi) and Bengaluru in India. If you’re located near one of these offices, we would love for you to spend time in the office regularly. Some roles are hybrid or in-office by design. For example, our engineering team in India works primarily from our Gurugram office.
Role:We are seeking a Head of Infrastructure to lead our Infrastructure Engineering team. You’ll be responsible for the design, scalability, and reliability of SentiLink’s infrastructure across commercial and FedRAMP environments. Your team will build and operate foundational services including Kubernetes, Terraform modules, CI/CD pipelines, observability platforms, and core data infrastructure. This is a highly hands-on role, and we are seeking a technical leader who can excel both as an individual contributor and as a manager, effectively balancing technical expertise with leadership responsibilities.

You will:Lead and grow a high-performing team of infrastructure engineers.
Define and execute on a roadmap for scalable, secure infrastructure aligned with product and regulatory needs.
Own infrastructure operations across AWS, Kubernetes, and Postgres-based services.
Drive infrastructure cost management and strategic vendor usage (e.g., SaaS, cloud providers).
Partner with InfoSec to ensure adherence to FedRAMP, SOC 2, PCI.
Set strong operational standards around observability, incident response, and reliability.
Collaborate with engineering, Data Science, and product teams to deliver internal platforms that enable fast, secure software delivery.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand their infrastructure needs and provide scalable, robust solutions.
Define and drive the technical roadmap for infrastructure initiatives, aligning with company objectives and product needs.
Oversee the development of new infrastructure across a broad range of technologies and providers, including but not limited to AWS, Kubernetes, OpenSearch, and Aurora Postgres.
Drive strategic infrastructure projects, focusing on continuous improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
Manage and optimize infrastructure costs, including cloud resources and SaaS services.
Ensure the infrastructure adheres to internal security policies and external compliance requirements.
Ensure the continuous availability and performance of critical infrastructure components (e.g., databases, Kubernetes clusters).
Mentor and grow a team of highly skilled infrastructure engineers.
Establish and maintain strong operational practices, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
Oversee hiring processes for the Infrastructure team, ensuring a strong talent pipeline.
10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering or similar, with a strong focus on AWS environments.
3-5 years of experience in a leadership or management role, leading infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE teams.
Experience operating production systems on AWS using Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability tooling (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, SumoLogic). Strong background in Postgres or other relational databases. Bonus for Python or Go scripting.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, PCI, and SOC2.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must live in the United States.
$190,000/year - $285,000/year + equity + benefits
