Type: Full-Time Contractor

A Hiring Group is searching globally for a Head of Marketing (Operations-Driven) on behalf of a U.S.-based client in the marketing and growth sector.

This role requires a highly execution-focused marketing leader with proven experience managing large-scale local marketing operations — including direct oversight of 100+ Google Business Profiles (GMBs) — alongside full ownership of performance, demand generation, and team operations.

About the Role

As Head of Marketing, you will act as the operational backbone of the marketing function, ensuring that strategy is translated into scalable, repeatable execution systems.

You will oversee day-to-day marketing operations across SEO, Local SEO (GMB), Content, Design, and Demand Generation, with a strong emphasis on process, performance tracking, and output consistency.

This is not a purely strategic role — you must be comfortable getting into the weeds, optimizing workflows, managing large asset volumes (GMB listings), and ensuring execution quality at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute a performance-driven marketing strategy tied directly to revenue goals
  • Oversee and optimize 100+ Google Business Profiles (GMBs), ensuring accuracy, rankings, reviews, and ongoing activity
  • Build and manage scalable operational systems for Local SEO, content production, and demand generation
  • Lead cross-functional teams (SEO, Content, Design, Demand Gen) with a focus on execution efficiency and accountability
  • Translate executive priorities into clear operational plans, KPIs, and weekly deliverables
  • Align lead generation volume with fulfillment/production capacity
  • Implement and enforce processes, SOPs, and automation across marketing functions
  • Manage marketing performance metrics, including CPL, CAC, ROI, and conversion rates
  • Establish real-time reporting dashboards and performance tracking systems
  • Continuously identify bottlenecks and optimize workflows for scale

Success Metrics

  • Growth and consistency of qualified inbound leads
  • Performance and health of GMB listings (rankings, engagement, reviews)
  • Marketing ROI and cost efficiency (CPL, CAC)
  • Execution speed and campaign delivery consistency
  • Accuracy and visibility of reporting across all channels

Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years in marketing leadership with strong operational ownership
  • Mandatory: Hands-on experience managing 100+ Google Business Profiles (GMBs) at scale
  • Deep expertise in Local SEO, performance marketing, and lead generation systems
  • Proven ability to build and manage execution teams and workflows, not just strategy
  • Strong understanding of funnels, attribution, and ROI optimization
  • Experience with CRM systems, GA4, Search Console, GMB tools, and reporting dashboards with Claude amd other AI tools.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a process-driven mindset
  • Strong leadership, accountability, and problem-solving skills

Why Join

  • Fully remote, global role aligned with U.S. business hours
  • High-impact role with direct ownership of marketing operations and revenue growth
  • Opportunity to build and scale large-scale local marketing systems
  • Strong executive support with high autonomy

Apply now if you are an execution-driven marketing operator with proven experience managing large-scale GMB portfolios and delivering measurable growth.
