About Us
Gumloop is the piece of AI infrastructure companies roll out to let everyone build agents securely. Let people who understand the problem build and share agents, manage their access to data, choose your AI models and host it all in your own cloud.

We're a very small team building as fast as humanly possible. Gusto, Ramp, Shopify, Samsara, Instacart, and Opendoor are running agents on Gumloop across their company. We've raised over $70M from Benchmark, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Nexus Ventures to scale operations and are looking for people who care as much as we do to join the team.

Role Overview

Gumloop is hiring a Head of Marketing to lead the function through its next stage of growth. You will set the marketing strategy, bring the team’s work together around clear priorities, and own how Gumloop is positioned and brought to market.

This role leads a multidisciplinary marketing team and partners closely with the founders and leaders across Product, Sales, Growth, and Customer Success. You will set direction, establish an effective operating cadence, and contribute directly when your judgment can materially improve the work.

What You’ll Do
  • Set Gumloop’s marketing strategy, translate company priorities into a focused roadmap, and define how success will be measured.

  • Clarify who Gumloop is for and why it matters by owning our ideal customer profile, category, positioning, narrative, and brand.

  • Lead planning for major product launches, with clear messaging for individual users and enterprise buyers.

  • Bring product marketing, brand, content, growth, and demand generation together around shared priorities, clear ownership, and consistent execution.

  • Partner with Product, Sales, Growth, and Customer Success to turn customer feedback, market insight, and performance data into better marketing decisions.

  • Set the operating cadence for the function and decide where to invest budget and resources.

  • Build and develop the marketing team, and personally lead the work where your judgment can have the greatest impact.

What You Bring
  • Experience leading marketing at a high-growth B2B software company, with clear evidence that your work contributed to company growth.

  • A track record of building, managing, and developing a multidisciplinary marketing team.

  • Strong judgment in customer segmentation, category, positioning, messaging, and product launches.

  • The ability to understand an innovative product and turn it into a clear, differentiated story.

  • Broad marketing range across product marketing, brand, content, growth, and demand generation, with the ability to connect them into one strategy.

  • Experience supporting enterprise sales motions.

  • Sound operating judgment, including the ability to prioritize, allocate resources, and make decisions with incomplete information alongside founders and cross-functional leaders.

  • Strong writing and creative judgment, with an instinct for marketing that feels authentic to the company and useful to its audience.

Bonus
  • Experience marketing AI, automation, developer tools, or another technical product.

  • Experience building or reshaping a marketing function during a period of rapid growth.

  • Experience using AI and automation to improve marketing workflows and increase the team’s leverage.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity

  • Paid time off: 24 days for SF employees

  • $350 monthly wellness benefit

  • 15 days of temporary remote work flexibility per year

  • 401(k) match up to 6%
