About us:

Parabola is a workflow builder that makes it easy to organize and transform messy data from anywhere—even PDFs, emails, and spreadsheets—so that forward-thinking teams can automate the work they thought would always be manual.

Teams at fast-moving companies like Brooklinen, On Running, and Flexport use Parabola to save hundreds of hours and finally take on the projects that used to feel out of reach. Whether it’s reconciling inventory across multiple 3PLs, auditing invoices, or manually exporting the same report every Monday, Parabola gives teams the power to automate it—all without needing engineering support.

Parabola is backed by OpenView Partners, Matrix Partners, Thrive Capital and more.

About the role:

Parabola is looking for a Head of Marketing who is equal parts strategist and operator. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own Parabola's marketing function — setting long term strategic direction while staying hands-on with the day-to-day execution that a lean, fast-moving team requires.

We ship new features faster than most companies, and we’re looking for a leader who is excited about marketing that moves at the same speed. We recently launched our new flagship product, Prowork, which has taken off. Supporting Prowork’s ongoing launch will be a key focus of this hire!

Our Head of Marketing will have impeccable taste and will be equally comfortable writing the campaign briefs and presenting the quarter's results to leadership. You’ll build and manage a small, high-performing core team while extending your reach through contractors and outside vendors where it makes sense. You know how to translate marketing performance into terms that resonate with executives who don't live in the tactical details every day.

What you'll be doing:

  • Partner with peers to set Parabola’s marketing strategy — scoping both longer horizon projects and quick wins.

  • Own the marketing budget; make disciplined tradeoffs across channels and vendors, and report ROI in terms that hold up under executive and board scrutiny.

  • Build and lead a small, high-performing core marketing team; identify where outside contractors and vendors extend the team's capacity, and manage those relationships for output and quality.

  • Own messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy that clearly articulates Prowork’s value and keeps pace with a rapidly evolving, AI-driven product.

  • Drive awareness and generate high-quality pipeline in close partnership with sales and business development.

  • Operate confidently inside the marketing tech stack; ensure marketing data, attribution, and workflows are set up to support both platforms without relying on a dedicated ops hire.

  • Elevate Parabola's brand identity through cohesive storytelling and consistent presence across all channels.

  • Translate marketing execution and performance into clear, digestible narratives for executives and board members who aren't steeped in day-to-day marketing tactics.

What (we think) you'll need to do it:

  • 12+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, including leadership roles in high-growth companies, with a track record of driving measurable business outcomes.

  • Proven success balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in lean, fast-moving organizations.

  • A strong POV across product marketing, demand generation, brand, and pipeline development.

  • Hands-on proficiency with tools like HubSpot and Salesforce and demonstrated curiosity for AI-powered GTM technologies.

  • Strong understanding of marketing measurement, attribution, forecasting, budgeting, and ROI analysis.

  • Experience building high-performing teams and effectively leveraging agencies and contractors to extend capacity.

  • Proven ability to partner closely with Sales, Product, and Executive Leadership to drive company growth.

Salary Range is flexible depending on years of experience
