About Coreshell: Coreshell is redefining what’s possible for electrification by tackling the true barrier to progress: batteries. From EVs to drones, humanoids, and delivery robots, performance and usefulness all hinge on power. Coreshell’s battery technology replaces graphite with abundant U.S.-sourced silicon, delivering ~30% more capacity, faster charging times, and cutting lifecycle emissions nearly 30%. Already gaining traction in EVs, the technology integrates with existing lithium-ion manufacturing, lowers costs by over 25%, and provides the only scalable, domestic alternative to foreign--controlled graphite. By extending range, runtime, safety, and affordability, Coreshell is enabling the future of electrification from electric vehicles and robotics to energy storage and beyond while anchoring sustainable electrification at scale.

Position: Coreshell is seeking a Head of Marketing to lead marketing strategy, execution, and brand growth at a critical inflection point for the company. This is a hands-on role responsible for building the Coreshell brand, driving awareness, generating leads, and amplifying our partnerships across the battery and electrification ecosystem. In partnership with the CEO and Director of Business Development, you’ll own the marketing function — from brand positioning and messaging through content, digital, events, and PR. You’ll work cross-functionally and closely with leadership, commercial, product, and engineering teams. This role combines strategic thinking with tactical execution to help shape how Coreshell shows up to customers, partners, media, and investors.

Core Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy

  • Define and continuously refine Coreshell’s brand positioning, voice, and visual identity across channels; ensure brand quality and consistency across all online and offline touchpoints.
  • Translate complex technical innovation into clear, differentiated messaging that resonates with OEMs, investors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Develop thought leadership content and campaigns that connect Coreshell’s work to broader market trends in electrification, energy security, and supply chain resilience.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all materials, from the website and pitch decks to event presence and sales collateral.

Communications & PR

  • Manage and execute Coreshell’s communications program - across media relations and PR announcements, award applications, and events and speaking opportunities;
  • Review press materials, op-eds, and announcements and ensure their readiness for publication and external sharing.
  • Oversee Coreshell’s visibility calendar of events, trade shows, and speaking opportunities, ensuring applications are in on time and Coreshell is organized around key industry moments.
  • Manage PR agency partners and ensure alignment between communications and company milestones.

Demand Generation

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and qualified pipeline for Coreshell’s commercial team.
  • Oversee web, social, email, and paid media channels; dream up and optimize digital campaigns for conversion and brand impact.
  • Partner with product and sales teams to develop case studies, white papers, and technical collateral that support customer acquisition.
  • Define and track key marketing KPIs; analyze campaign performance to inform future strategy.

Partner Marketing

  • Collaborate with Coreshell’s OEM, supplier, and ecosystem partners to co-market joint initiatives, pilots, and technology showcases.
  • Develop partner enablement materials, co-branded content, and announcements that elevate shared visibility.
  • Align Coreshell’s brand with industry collaborators, investors, and policymakers driving electrification and domestic manufacturing.
  • Support go-to-market readiness for new customer partnerships and product demonstrations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 6–8 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B tech, cleantech, energy, or deep tech sectors.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling technical narratives and convert complex ideas into accessible, high-impact messaging.
  • Experience leading brand, content, and demand-generation strategies that drive measurable growth.
  • Strong writing, editorial, and storytelling skills across media, digital, and executive communications.
  • Comfort collaborating with technical and commercial teams and operating in a cross-functional startup environment.
  • Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience in digital marketing tools, analytics, and automation platforms.
  • Self-starter with strong ownership, creative instincts, and the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution.

Benefits & Location: Remote or San Leandro, CA. Full-time. Salary range of $150,000 – $180,000. Salary and equity options depend on experience. Applications will be screened as received.
