This role is foundational. You will lead scientific engagements, shape our consulting offerings, and help customers adopt our AI-driven PK/PD analysis platform. As part of our broader Apollo-AI strategy, this role is central to showing how agentic, LLM-powered workflows can enhance and streamline quantitative decision-making across the drug development lifecycle.
We’re looking for someone who is both technically strong and commercially oriented—capable of executing high-quality analysis work, building relationships, and scaling a new services organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead InsightRx’s PK/PD consulting services as the primary scientific and strategic point of contact
- Conduct and oversee PK/PD and model-informed analyses across early and late-stage development programs
- Advise pharma and biotech partners on modeling strategy, study design, and interpretation of results
- Help grow the consulting business through strong industry relationships and a credible scientific presence
- Guide customers in adopting our AI-powered PK/PD analysis platform and integrating it into their workflows
- Collaborate with product, AI, data science, and engineering teams to refine and expand platform capabilities
- Establish processes, standards, and best practices for a scalable consulting organization
- Mentor future hires and contribute to building a high-performing team
- Represent InsightRx in scientific and industry forums
- Minimum of 5+ years in PK/PD, clinical pharmacology, modeling and simulation, or related areas
- Strong foundation in PK/PD principles, model development, model evaluation, and application to drug development
- Demonstrated ability to lead analysis workstreams and communicate scientific insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working with multiple modeling tools (e.g., NONMEM, Monolix, Stan, R, Python), with flexibility across platforms
- A strong industry network and track record of working with pharma or biotech organizations
- Ability to influence customer decision-making and build trusted partnerships
- Forward-thinking mindset with an enthusiasm for integrating AI and emerging technologies into scientific workflows
- Comfort operating in a high-growth, fast-moving startup environment
- CRO experience is a plus
Why This Role Is Exciting
- You will build a new consulting organization from the ground up and shape its long-term strategy
- You’ll work at the forefront of AI-enabled PK/PD and clinical pharmacology, helping define how quantitative decision-making evolves in pharma and biotech
- Direct impact on key partnerships with top-tier drug development teams
- High visibility role with strong support from leadership, product, and AI teams
- Opportunity to influence and co-develop Apollo-AI’s agentic workflows and real-world use cases
- A rare chance to blend scientific leadership, customer strategy, and next-generation technology
- Competitive compensation, equity, and the ability to grow a team around you as demand scales
