WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Design Strategy & Market Leadership

  • You define and own the strategic design vision for SimCorp's portfolio, translating client requirements, accessibility standards, and competitive dynamics into a prioritized roadmap that positions SimCorp ahead of market expectations.
  • You identify opportunities where design innovation drives measurable business impact — improved adoption, reduced time-to-value, and strengthened competitive positioning.

Design Execution & Systems

Leading & Influencing People

  • You build and scale a high-performing design organization, developing talent pipelines and cultivating a culture of excellence that attracts world-class designers.
  • You operate as an extension of the executive team, providing strategic counsel on initiatives where design thinking shapes competitive positioning and resource allocation.

WHAT WE VALUE

Domain Expertise & Market Knowledge

  • 15+ years of experience in product design leadership for institutional investment platforms, with demonstrated expertise in complex workflows, data visualization, or trading systems.
  • Deep understanding of asset management workflows, asset classes, and regulatory requirements — and how design drives adoption, reduces operational risk, and creates competitive differentiation.

Design Leadership & Execution Excellence

  • Demonstrated ability to define strategic vision, build organizational capabilities, and lead high-performing design teams across multiple business units while maintaining design excellence as a core capability.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and scaling design systems that improve product velocity while maintaining quality across complex, data-dense enterprise platforms.

Strategic Communication & Executive Influence

  • Proficient communication skills presenting design strategy to C-suite executives, institutional clients, board stakeholders, and industry forums with clarity and conviction.
  • Ability to influence product strategy, engineering priorities, and business decisions through design thinking, user research, and user-centered advocacy.
