***This is NOT an account management role. You’ll be responsible for identifying, pitching, and closing net-new strategic publisher partnerships and building long-term revenue streams from the ground up.***

COMPENSATION: Minimum of $200k+ between base salary, annual bonus, and commission compensation. Final compensation will vary depending on level and experience.

MUST HAVE:

  • Proven success acquiring and scaling net-new partnerships that generate meaningful recurring revenue
  • Deep expertise in performance marketing monetization structures (CPM, CPC, CPA, CPL, rev share, hybrid models) with the commercial acumen to design pricing and frameworks that unlock scalable, high-margin growth
  • Experience developing executive-level relationships with audience owners and decision-makers while maintaining a disciplined pipeline across both enterprise, complex sales cycles and shorter-cycle transactional win
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead with data, craft compelling monetization narratives, and influence senior decision-makers

EXPERIENCE: 8+ years of experience in publisher development, affiliate/performance media, marketplace sales, or media partnerships with a track record of closing and scaling net-new supply relationships.

YOUR ROLE

Own and scale publisher margin growth by building strategic distribution partnerships with high-value audience owners that drive recurring, durable margin across Launch Potato’s marketplaces.

OUTCOMES (Performance Expectations)

  • Drive $5M+ in annual publisher margin by acquiring, activating, and scaling high-impact distribution partners
  • Sign and onboard 50+ net-new publishers in year one, converting a meaningful percentage into recurring monthly revenue contributors
  • Maintain 3–5x qualified pipeline coverage against quarterly targets with clear stage definitions and forecasting accuracy
  • Establish repeatable acquisition strategies across newsletters, content sites, mobile apps, media buyers, platforms, and emerging distribution channels
  • Launch and scale new distribution initiatives (e.g., widget distribution) that expand monetization depth and diversify traffic exposure
  • Structure integrated deals leveraging both O&O placements and network distribution to increase publisher yield and lifetime value

  • Strategic & Consultative Selling: Positions Launch Potato as a long-term monetization partner through executive-level storytelling, data-backed recommendations, and scalable commercial strategy
  • Pipeline Ownership & Forecast Discipline: Maintains rigorous prospecting cadence, stage clarity, and predictable deal progression
  • Commercial & Data Fluency: Understands CPM, CPC, CPA, CPL, rev share, and hybrid structures, using data to inform pricing and margin optimization
  • Execution & Systems Building: Operates hands-on while building scalable acquisition frameworks that enable consistent revenue growth
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Partners effectively with Partner Operations, Product, Engineering, and Sales to accelerate activation and scale
  • Ownership Mentality: Takes full accountability for margin impact with a bias toward action and measurable results
  • Market Presence & Credibility: Establishes Launch Potato as a top-tier monetization partner through strong industry relationships and event representation

TOTAL COMPENSATION

Base salary is set according to market rates for the nearest major metro and varies based on Launch Potato’s Levels Framework. Your compensation package includes a base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and competitive benefits. Launch Potato is a performance-driven company, which means once you are hired, future increases will be based on company and personal performance, not annual cost of living adjustments.
