THE OPPORTUNITY

We are Amplifier, and we have built the world’s first Large Acoustic Model (LAM), a foundation model that uses human voice to detect health conditions. This is sci-fi becoming reality. We have raised significant capital from top-tier investors to turn this technology into a massive new category in healthcare.

We are looking for a sales leader who still loves the kill. We don't need a "dashboard manager" or someone to build complex Salesforce workflows. We need a closer who leads from the front.

THE REALITY

Let’s be clear about what we are signing up for.

  • You will carry a bag. This is a Player-Coach role. You aren't just hiring the team; you are closing the first 10 Fortune 500 logos yourself. You earn your leadership by showing the team how it’s done, not by telling them.
  • We work in person in San Francisco. Sales is a contact sport. We want the energy of a boiler room, not a Zoom room. We feed off each other's wins.
  • There is no playbook. You aren't inheriting a well-oiled machine. You are walking into a jungle with a machete. You will figure out the pitch, the pricing, and the closing motion by doing it.

If you are looking for a role where you can sit back and "manage strategy," this isn't it. But if you are looking to be the architect of a $100M revenue engine, then we want to talk to you.

THE MISSION

Reporting to our Founding CRO, you will spearhead our B2B Enterprise motion. Our product is an API (similar to Anthropic/OpenAI) that enterprise healthcare companies integrate into their workflows.

The Challenge:

  • Hunter Mindset: You will relentlessly pursue high-value enterprise accounts (Payers, Providers, Telehealth Platforms). You are comfortable navigating complex org charts to find the decision-maker.
  • Technical Selling: You aren't selling shelf-ware. You are selling a sophisticated AI API. You need to be comfortable explaining inference latency, API schema, and data security to a CTO.

Setting the Pace: You will hire and lead a small, elite team of AEs. You set the culture of high performance, resilience, and speed.

RequirementsWHO YOU ARE
  • A Closer: You have a track record of closing 6 and 7-figure deals. You live for the signature.
  • A Grinder: You don't wait for marketing leads. You know how to build your own pipe. You pick up the phone.
  • Low Ego: You are willing to do the grunt work. You’ll write your own cold emails, build your own decks, and run your own demos until we have the scale to hire support.
  • Hungry: You want to make money. Lots of it. You understand that in an early-stage startup, your W2 is directly correlated to your hustle.

BenefitsWHAT WE OFFER
  • Uncapped Upside: An aggressive commission plan that rewards over-performance. We want you to make more than the Founders.
  • Impact: The chance to sell a product that literally saves lives.
  • Equity: Real ownership. We are early enough that your equity package has life-changing potential.
  • The Team: You will work directly with a killer product and research team that is shipping features faster than you can sell them.
HOW TO APPLY

Don't send a generic cover letter.

Send us a summary of the biggest deal you ever closed—how you found it, how you fought for it, and how you won it.

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
