We are hiring a Head of Sales to directly own and accelerate revenue growth. This is a high-velocity, front-line selling role for an experienced, highly motivated commercial leader who brings an existing Private Equity network, thrives in consultative sales, and is driven to win and close business.

What You'll Own

Revenue Growth (Primary Focus) Personally originate, develop, and close new business across:

  • Private Equity firms

  • Portfolio companies (primary buyers)

  • Direct enterprise opportunities

  • Channel and partner pathways (as applicable)

Leverage your existing Private Equity and executive network to access decision-makers, while also building new relationships across North America and Europe

Drive a disciplined, consultative sales process from initial client outreach through close, including:

  • Diagnosing revenue and margin growth challenges

  • Positioning TechTorch’s AI-powered solutions in a business-impact context

  • Navigating multi-stakeholder buying environments

Generate new opportunities through both existing relationships and proactive outbound efforts beyond your current network

Partner with delivery leadership to ensure a seamless client experience from sale through engagement

Market Engagement & Positioning

Typical engagements focus on driving revenue growth and commercial optimization within PE-backed portfolio companies

Engage credibly with C-suite, commercial leaders, and operating partners

Demonstrate fluency in front-office and commercial effectiveness topics, including:

  • AI-enabled commercial optimization and decision support

  • Commercial strategy and revenue growth execution

  • Pipeline performance and conversion improvement

  • Sales productivity and performance optimization

  • Pricing strategy and commercial decisioning

Translate client challenges into high-value consulting engagements with clear ROI

Collaboration & Deal Execution

Partner closely with founders and delivery leadership on deal strategy and complex pursuits

Help shape proposals and commercial structures that accelerate deal closure

Own and manage your pipeline end-to-end, with clear visibility into deal progression and close timing

Ensure continuity from sale to delivery, maintaining credibility with clients

You are commercially sharp, intellectually curious, and operate with urgency and a strong bias toward advancing and closing deals in a fast-moving sales environment

Required Experience & Capabilities

  • 7-15 years of B2B sales experience in technology, software or consulting

  • Proven success engaging both PE firms and portfolio companies

  • Active network across PE firms, operating partners, and/or portfolio company executives

  • Demonstrated ability to personally engage and align multiple stakeholders across Private Equity firms and portfolio companies, including operating partners, C-suite executives, and functional leaders, to drive complex deals to close

  • Fluency in commercial and front-office domains, such as:

  • Revenue growth and optimization

  • Pipeline generation and opportunity development

  • Sales effectiveness

  • Pricing strategy and monetization models

  • Experience selling across multiple geographies (North America and/or Europe)

  • High degree of comfort with technology and AI-driven solutions

  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and resilient in a performance-driven environment

Additional Attributes That Accelerate Success

  • Experience selling AI-enabled or data-driven technology or consulting solutions

  • Familiarity with post-acquisition value creation in PE portfolio companies

  • Ability to operate effectively across U.S. and European business cultures

Compensation & Structure

  • Base salary: $180,000 – $230,000, depending on experience

  • Uncapped, tiered incentive structure with significant upside tied directly to personal revenue production

  • Direct access to founders and involvement in high-impact deals
