About the Team:

At Decagon, our offices are more than workplaces - they’re the center of how we build, collaborate and move fast together. From our San Francisco headquarters to expanding spaces in New York and Europe, we create workplaces that are functional, inspiring and deeply aligned with Decagon’s culture.
The Workplace team owns the strategy and operations behind our work environments, from real estate strategy and build-outs to the systems that keep our offices running seamlessly day to day. Our work directly shapes how Decagon operates, bringing intention and precision to the spaces where innovation happens.

About the Role:

The Head of Workplace will lead Decagon’s global workplace strategy and operations, ensuring our physical environments scale in step with our growth. You will oversee real estate and expansion projects, manage a team of office leaders, and build the systems that keep our spaces running with precision and purpose.

This role requires equal parts strategy and execution. You will shape Decagon’s long-term workplace vision, from how we design and open new offices to how we evolve our day-to-day operations, ensuring every detail reflects the company’s values and pace.

As a senior leader, you will partner closely with People, Finance, IT and the executive team to deliver world-class spaces that enable collaboration, drive productivity and embody Decagon’s culture of excellence.


What You'll Do:
  • Lead and grow the Workplace team, setting vision and scalable processes for global office operations.

  • Drive Decagon’s real estate strategy by negotiate leases, manage brokers/vendors, and oversee build-outs and office openings across San Francisco, New York and Europe.

  • Manage workplace budgets and optimize spend across real estate, operations and vendors to ensure efficiency at scale

  • Ensure operational excellence in offices, maintaining high standards for safety, compliance, and employee experience.

  • Partner with People, Finance, IT, and Leadership to plan for growth and deliver spaces that enable collaboration and high performance

  • Build programs and policies that create a consistent, high-quality workplace experience across all locations.

Who You Are:
  • 6–8+ years of experience in workplace, real estate, or operations, ideally in high-growth startups or tech.

  • Proven track record leading multi-site expansions and office build-outs.

  • Skilled in vendor management, project execution, and global workplace operations.

  • Strong people leadership, with the ability to build, inspire and scale a team.

  • Comfortable moving fluidly between strategic planning and tactical hands-on execution.

  • Experience working across geographies in the US and Europe
