About Slash

Slash is building the future of business banking, one industry at a time.

We believe businesses deserve financial infrastructure tailored to how they actually operate, not generic banking products retrofitted with software. We’re creating a new category of business banking that combines the reliability of traditional banking (high yields, competitive rewards, and uncompromising security) with industry-specific software, stablecoins, and AI-native workflows.

Our goal is simple: make businesses more efficient, more competitive, and more profitable.

Founded in 2021, Slash is one of the fastest-growing fintech companies in the world. We power billions in annual transaction volume across a wide range of industries — from internet-native founders to traditional operators. We’ve raised over $60M from leading investors including Menlo Ventures, NEA, Y Combinator, Goodwater Capital, Stanford University, and founders of companies like Tinder and Plaid.

Our team brings together fintech operators from Cash App, Brex, and Finix, alongside founders who have built and scaled their own businesses. We’re headquartered in San Francisco (with another office in New York City) and operate with a strong in-person culture.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Head of YouTube to build and own a category-defining content engine at Slash.

This is not a traditional social media role. You’ll own YouTube end-to-end – from strategy and content to distribution and performance – with the goal of making Slash one of the most trusted and widely consumed financial brands on the internet.

You’ll work directly with the founder and leadership team to translate complex financial concepts into content that millions of people want to watch. YouTube is the anchor, but your mandate extends across all content channels, helping define how Slash shows up across the internet.

This is a zero-to-one role with full ownership. You’ll define the playbook, build the system, and scale it.

You Will:
  • Own YouTube growth end-to-end, including content strategy, packaging, and distribution

  • Drive performance across titles, thumbnails, retention, and algorithm dynamics

  • Build and manage a consistent content calendar and publishing cadence

  • Translate complex financial products into engaging, accessible storytelling that educates and converts

  • Build and manage a creator ecosystem, including sourcing, onboarding, and working with creators and production partners

  • Own production end-to-end, including allocating resources across formats, creators, and experiments

  • Expand content strategy across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels

  • Ensure a cohesive narrative across all owned content channels

  • Define and build Slash’s content identity from the ground up

  • Have the opportunity to build and lead a world-class content team as the company scales

What We're Looking For:
  • Deep expertise in YouTube, including strong intuition for algorithm, thumbnails, titles, and retention

  • Proven experience growing a YouTube channel (your own or for a creator) to meaningful scale

  • Strong creative instincts paired with analytical rigor

  • Experience building and managing creator ecosystems

  • Operator mindset: you can execute, not just strategize

  • Comfort working in ambiguity and building from scratch

  • Clear communication and ability to work directly with founders

  • High ownership mindset

Nice to Have:
  • Experience at media or high-growth tech companies is a plus

  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or adjacent industries

  • Background working with creator ecosystems or cultural partnerships

  • Experience managing agencies or large external vendor relationships

  • Prior experience building a brand function from scratch

You’ll Thrive Here If:
  • You have strong taste and instincts for what will resonate culturally

  • You’re as comfortable shipping campaigns as you are defining strategy

  • You like taking big swings, not just optimizing incremental gains

  • You can operate with ambiguity and make decisions without perfect data

  • You enjoy building from zero and defining how things should work

  • You want to shape how an entire category gets built and perceived

Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary

  • Equity in a high-growth company

  • Best-in-class health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Daily in-office meals

  • Transportation support

  • High-autonomy, low-bureaucracy environment
