About Our Company: EyeTell is a new startup brought to you by Chad Hurley, the Co-Founder and former CEO of YouTube. We are building something new at the intersection of AI and mixed media and are looking for a talented HR Director to join our small team. You will be joining at the ground floor, which is an exciting time! However, because of this, we expect teammates to be in the office most of the time, so if you seek remote-only or remote-mostly, this is not the droid you are looking for.

Job Summary: As the HR Director, you will build the "EyeTell culture," managing the people operations and talent acquisition for our growing team of builders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the full talent acquisition lifecycle.

  • Establish HR policies, benefits programs, and performance management systems.

  • Foster an inclusive and diverse workplace culture.

  • Advise leadership on organizational design and team growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field with provable experience.

  • Experience in a fast-paced startup, ideally within the Silicon Valley ecosystem.

  • Deep understanding of employment laws and best practices.

Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits; free lunch in the office; chance to make a significant impact on a growing company.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
