About the Role:

Hims & Hers is seeking an HR Generalist to join our People Ops team for a full-time, six-month contract. You'll use your detail and enthusiasm for process improvement to provide Hims and Hers a world-class employee experience. You’ll also apply your systems savvy and analytical thinking to continually improve our People processes and devise ways to better utilize our core tools. Finally, you’ll provide employees the information they need to thrive, helping them navigate our people processes & programs, and supporting them throughout their employment at Hims and Hers.

You Will:
  • Partner with the People Operations Team to drive a smooth process and manage all backend support functions.

  • Own the HR email inbox, respond to all inquiries in a timely manner, and triage employee questions by directing them to the appropriate resource or subject matter expert as needed.

  • Serve as a resource for employees on HR-related matters, such as company policies, benefits, and compliance.

  • Run regular and ad-hoc reports related to turnover, performance, employee demographics, and other key metrics for the business and provide analysis.

  • Manage the internal mail tracking platform, ensuring timely delegation and completion of HR-related mail, onboarding appropriate teams, and triaging all company mail to relevant parties while responding to employment-related inquiries and notifications within state-mandated timeframes.

  • Partner with the Payroll team to ensure new hires, employee changes, and terminations are processed in a timely manner

  • Assist in developing, revising, and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with business goals and legal requirements.

  • Lead and manage compliance training initiatives, including annual and new hire assignments, regulatory tracking by state and industry, and company-wide communications to ensure timely completion and accountability

  • Oversee the onboarding process, including conducting New Hire Orientation, completing background checks, I-9 review, and E-Verify, while ensuring a positive and smooth new hire experience.

  • Collaborate with respective HRBP’s on various HR projects, including leveling reviews, reviewing policies for accuracy, conducting career leveling research, and pulling data as needed.

  • Oversee employee changes throughout the entire process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and required approvals are obtained at each stage.

  • Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Manage the offboarding process for respective client groups, including conducting exit interviews, handling termination paperwork, drafting separation agreements as needed, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

  • Partner with the HR Manager on new acquisitions and onboard newly acquired employees, ensure accuracy in their records and provide ongoing support throughout the transition period.

  • Regularly review and update the organizational structure to reflect employee changes, new hires, and departmental reorganizations, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

You Have:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources; ideally in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability and patience, to audit and dive deep into data to determine patterns and check for inaccuracies

  • Demonstrated client-service orientation, with a clear, approachable, and friendly communication style and customer service approach

  • Effective interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills

  • Experience with Excel or Google Sheets in a professional environment

  • Experience with using data systems and tools; experience using HRIS systems,

  • Strong analytical skills, proven ability to execute processes, and a flexible approach to problem-solving

  • SHRM or PHR Certification (preferred)

  • Experience with Lattice, Paylocity, Checkr, Airtable, Stable, and Excel. (preferred)
