Job Description:

Our global People team (Human Resources) spans the Americas (AMS), Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), and Asia-Pacific (APAC). We are committed to balancing the needs of our employees and the business by fostering strong relationships with both employees and managers, and partnering to achieve shared business goals.

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our collaborative and supportive HR team. In this role, you will serve as a primary HR point of contact for employees across AMS, responding to inquiries through our HR ticketing system. Additionally, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities to enhance existing processes, systems, and tools to meet evolving business needs and improve efficiency.

This position will be based in one of our U.S. offices—New York, Dallas, or Los Angeles—and will support all people-related matters across AMS, which currently includes operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil.

Responsibilities:

  • HRIS & Data Accuracy- Maintain employee records in Workday, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.

  • Payroll Support -Cross-check payroll on a semi-monthly basis for accuracy.

  • Policy Coaching & Compliance - Provide coaching on People Operations policies and assist with ISO audits to ensure compliance.

  • General HR Administration -Handle administrative tasks such as preparing and sending documents to employees and stakeholders.

  • Leave & Immigration Support -Assist with leave of absence processes and provide support for immigration and visa-related matters.

  • Onboarding & Offboarding - Manage end-to-end onboarding processes from Talent Acquisition hand-off through post-first-day experience, and oversee offboarding including exit interviews and reporting trends.

  • Performance Monitoring -Track performance improvement plans and escalate potential issues as needed.

  • Employee Relations Guidance -Advise and support managers on employee relations issues including conduct, capability, grievances, disciplinary actions, and absence management.

  • Stakeholder Relationship Management -Build and maintain strong relationships with managers and key business stakeholders.

  • HR Projects & Communications - Support the rollout of HR initiatives, projects, and internal communications.

Requirements

  • SHRM-CP or HRCI certification (or actively working toward certification)
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in the HR field
  • Advanced understanding of U.S. employment law
  • Experience with Workday HRIS and end-to-end business processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural awareness and high ethical standards
  • Demonstrated approachability and professionalism
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Strong critical thinking, integrity, and accountability
  • Previous experience handling employee relations casework
  • Flexible and adaptable when managing stakeholders and changing priorities
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities and keeping all parties informed
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and responding to shifting priorities.
  • Willing to report to local office 2-days a week.
  • Salary range between $80,000-$95,000 based on experience and location.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience working across multiple AMS countries – Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil.
  • Experience working with EOR (Deel)
  • Experience working towards SOX compliance
