We are seeking a proactive HR Manager to architect our people operations globally

  • Location: 100% Remote (Must be based in LATAM)
  • Type: Full-Time Contractor (Starts with a 3-month paid trial period)
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours
  • Pay: Up to $2,000 USD/month (Post-trial)
  • Top Requirements: 4+ Years HR Experience, Remote Proficiency, C2 English

This is not a standard administrative role; it is a strategic position balancing the "human" element of remote culture with the "structural" necessities of legal compliance and security.

You will serve as the bridge between recruiting efforts and long-term retention, helping us build a scalable, compliant, and high-performing remote culture. If you are a self-starter who understands the nuances of managing international contractors and thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

WHY JOIN RUVIXX?

We are building a team where autonomy and impact come first.

  • Remote-First DNA: We don't just allow remote work; we are built for it. We understand the tools, the communication styles, and the culture needed to thrive across borders.
  • Global Impact: You will be working with a diverse, international team, solving complex people challenges that come with scaling a global workforce.
  • Growth & Ownership: We value proactive builders. You won’t just execute a playbook; you will help write it.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Onboarding & Growth: Architect and lead the onboarding journey for new hires, ensuring they have the tools, access, and training needed to succeed immediately.
  • Global Compliance & Security: Manage operations to meet local legal standards and lead security compliance processes (SOC2, data privacy audits, etc.).
  • Performance Management: Own the annual performance review cycle, implementing frameworks that drive professional growth and transparent feedback.
  • Contractor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for our international contractors, managing relationships to ensure high satisfaction, retention, and morale.
  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with Recruiting to analyze hiring needs, monitor retention metrics, and refine our overall talent strategy.
  • Culture Advocacy: Champion a positive, inclusive remote work environment that aligns with our global values.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in HR Management, preferably within remote-first startups.
  • Remote DNA: Your HR experience must be in a remote capacity. You understand the specific challenges of distributed teams.
  • Schedule Availability: You must be available to work full-time during PST (Pacific Standard Time) business hours.
  • Location: You are currently based in Latin America (LATAM).
  • Communication: Flawless professional English (written and verbal).
  • Global Expertise: Deep understanding of international contractor engagement models, compliance, and labor nuances.
  • People-First Approach: Proven ability to manage conflict, build trust, and maintain high "happiness" scores.
  • Data-Driven: Ability to interpret retention rates and hiring metrics to provide actionable strategic insights.

COMPENSATION & STRUCTURE

  • Monthly Pay: Up to $2,000 USD/month upon successful completion of the trial period.
  • Trial Period: This role begins with a 3-month paid trial to ensure mutual fit and performance. Note: A reduced probationary rate applies during these first 3 months.
  • Contract Type: Full-Time Independent Contractor.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with global HRIS tools (Deel, Rippling, BambooHR, etc.).
  • Background in scaling teams beyond 100+ people.
  • Familiarity with IT security frameworks (SOC2/ISO) and their intersection with HR.

At Ruvixx, we believe that diverse teams build better products and cultures. We are an equal opportunity partner and encourage candidates from all backgrounds, genders, and perspectives to apply. If you meet the core requirements and are ready to build something meaningful, we want to meet you.

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
