About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead the maintenance, integrity, and continuous improvement of our HR data and operational processes. This role owns HRIS data management and US benefits administration, while also driving efficiency through AI-powered HR tools. The ideal candidate combines strong HR operations expertise with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and brings familiarity with HiBob as a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with company policy
  • Manage the employee lifecycle process (new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations) within HR systems
  • Own the administration of US benefits programs, including open enrollment, new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and terminations
  • Reconcile benefits data between the HRIS and insurance carriers/vendors
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, HR chatbots, automation platforms) to streamline HR operations, improve reporting, and enhance employee self-service
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual HR processes and drive operational efficiency
  • Generate, audit, and analyze HR reports and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and support decision-making
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR data, benefits, and system access
  • Partner with Payroll, Benefits, IT, and People teams to resolve data discrepancies and improve cross-functional processes
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (ACA, ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain documentation of HR operational procedures and best practices
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience maintaining HR data in an HRIS platform
  • Hands-on experience with a US benefits module (e.g., Workday Benefits, ADP, SuccessFactors, UKG, or similar)
  • Practical experience using AI tools in an HR or operational context (e.g., ChatGPT/Claude for HR workflows, AI-powered HRIS features, automation tools)
  • Strong understanding of US benefits administration (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, COBRA)
  • High attention to detail and strong data accuracy skills
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) for data auditing and reporting
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Familiarity with HR compliance regulations (ACA, ERISA, FMLA) preferred

Preferred Skills / Advantage

  • Familiarity with HiBob (bob) HRIS platform is a strong advantage
  • Experience with HRIS report writing or dashboard tools
  • Prior experience supporting open enrollment cycles
  • PHR/SHRM-CP certification a plus
