The Role:
Working with our entire People team, you’ll be supporting all things People and Talent at Carrot serving as a key contributor to the employee experience.
Specifically, you’ll own:
- All People and Talent/HR administration throughout the employee journey
- Coordination of our onboarding and offboarding processes
- Process employee changes in HRIS and general Employee Record maintenance, including employee verification requests
- Coordinate employee-related mail, inquiries and requests for information.
- Coordinate WeWork/Co-working program
- Participate in and coordinate basic employee training programs including New Hire Orientation, Harassment training, Manager’s training, and other training programs, as necessary
- Assist in projects, such as; HR policy roll-outs, benefits open enrollment, employee communications and company-wide meetings.
- Support compliance efforts including but not limited to I-9 processing, background checks, and other internal HR audit requests
- Ad hoc duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
- Knowledge of employment practices and regulations.
- Past experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
- Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on a variety of tasks and projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field required
- A minimum of one year of experience in Human Resources
