Senior Human Resources Generalist

ROLE OVERVIEW
Benchling is looking for a HR Generalist to support our rapidly growing teams in the US. The HR Generalist will directly own multiple HR Operations pillars including the onboarding experience, policies and compliance, immigration and benefits administration.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Manage end-to-end strategy and execution of Benchling’s new hire onboarding program
- Ensure Benchling remains compliant with and executes on HR best practices like leaves of absence, leave policies and global mobility
- Work closely with the HRBP, IT and Finance teams for offboarding employees and contractors
- Facilitate performance reviews, compensation cycles and internal mobility programs in conjunction with the HRBP and HR Ops teams
- Ensure smooth immigration processes for candidates and employees, working closely with existing Counsel
- Work with our benefits broker, Sequoia Benefits, to ensure a positive benefits experience for all US Employees
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive culture for the greater Benchling team
ABOUT YOU
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably with some experience at technology companies
- Prior experience building and managing employee onboarding programs
- Strong general knowledge of HR best practices including performance reviews, compensation cycles, employee relations and HR compliance
- Prior experience working on immigration cases or benefits administration is a plus
- Familiarity with modern tools (we use Google Apps/Microsoft Office, BambooHR, Lattice, CultureAmp, Asana)
- Comfortable with ambiguity and excited to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Collaborative and enjoy building a strong cultural foundation for the teams you support
