Human Resources Coordinator – Supporting Employees, Strengthening Care

On-Site Position

Mission View Health Center, part of Compass Health of the Central Coast, is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our leadership team. If you enjoy supporting employees while managing payroll and benefits, we would like to hear from you.

What You’ll Do 

· Manage employee onboarding and personnel files 

· Administer benefits, insurance enrollments, and COBRA 

· Coordinate payroll preparation and reporting 

· Track employee leave, workers’ compensation claims, and garnishments 

· Monitor and administer the facility’s workplace safety program 

· Ensure compliance with applicable labor and employment laws 

· Maintain accurate HR and payroll records 

· Support managers and employees throughout their employment

Requirements

  

· High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred 

· Two or more years of experience in Human Resources, payroll, or benefits administration 

· Strong organizational, time management, communication, and computer skills

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism 

· Healthcare or skilled nursing experience is a plus  

· Must be able to pass background check, reference checks and physical/TB screening
