We are looking for a HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This entry-level position is ideal for a professional with some HR experience looking to develop their career in human resources. You will support multiple HR functions including policy enforcement, timesheet management, employee relations, and other essential HR operations. Reporting directly to the HR Business Services Manager you will support performance management processes while coordinating training programs and assist with benefits administration and enrollment for the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help implement and monitor compliance with company procedures

  • Support policy communication programs and employee training programs

  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

  • Review and process employee timesheets for accuracy and completeness

  • Help with payroll preparation and coordinate with payroll vendors

  • Address timesheet discrepancies and work with employees to resolve issues

  • Maintain accurate records of employee hours, overtime, and leave time

  • Provide first-level support for employee inquiries and concerns

  • Help conduct workplace investigations under guidance

  • Support conflict resolution and mediation efforts

  • Help maintain positive employee relations through multiple HR programs

  • Help with recruitment and onboarding processes

  • Maintain employee files and HR databases

  • Support performance management processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field 2-4 years of experience in HR, administrative, or related field

  • Experience with HR principles and best practices

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

  • Experience with HRIS systems preferred

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification (or willingness to pursue)

  • Experience with specific HRIS platforms (ADP, Workday, Ceridian)

  • Previous experience in policy development or compliance

  • Bilingual capabilities (specify languages)

Annual Salary Range: $57,200 – $85,400 USD
