The Human Resources Intern is part of the Corporate department, which resides on the Human Resources team and reports to the Human Resources Manager. As our Human Resources Intern the primary purpose of this position is to gain experience and exposure while providing administrative and operational assistance to the Human Resources Department in support of planned initiatives. This is a part-time temporary position approximately 20 hours per week.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate interviews and support recruiting by managing schedules and communicating with candidates and hiring managers

  • Support the recruitment team with the administration of job requisitions and providing recruitment updates to our tracking system

  • Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding

  • Answer and manage HR tickets, ensuring timely, accurate support and escalation when needed

  • Help prepare HR reports and track key metrics

  • Assist with the administration and coordination of employee programs

  • Learn various HR functions and get hands on experience in administrating processes

  • Gain understanding of HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other electronic platforms

  • Conduct research on relevant HR topics and areas and update the team on findings

  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need: 

  • 2 years of study in Human Resources or Business Management

  • Strong administrative skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to handle confidential employee information

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor with focus on customer service

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
