About the role

We are looking to add an HVAC Technician to our growing Maintenance Department. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems within the facility. This role involves troubleshooting system issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance of all HVAC units. The technician will work closely with the mechanical maintenance team to ensure a safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient environment for all occupants. This position requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, technical expertise, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The primary focus of this role will be performing HVAC-related duties, with additional responsibilities supporting the Mechanical Maintenance team as needed. This on-site position will directly support our Maintenance operations at our Corsicana, TX facility. This role will follow a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities as needed.


What you'll be doing

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air handlers and control systems.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
  • Diagnose and resolve HVAC issues using appropriate tools and methods.
  • Monitor HVAC performance and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members on broader facility operations and emergency repairs.
  • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all work activities.


What you'll have

  • High school diploma or GED required; HVAC certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of HVAC experince
  • Universal HVAC Certification and R410A certification required; NATE Certification and/or RSES Certification preferred.
  • Prior mechanical  maintenance or related operations experience preferred, with proven experience in HVAC installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, control systems, plumbing, fire safety systems, and building automation systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, including wrenches, pliers, drills, and saws.
  • Knowledge of building materials, maintenance practices, and the ability to identify and resolve issues before they become larger problems.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, schedule maintenance activities, minimize downtime, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work safely in various environments, including standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in elevated or confined spaces.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and vendors.
  • Ability to learn new techniques, technologies, and maintenance processes.


Physical requirements and work environment

  • Must be physically able to climb ladders and access tight or awkward spaces as required.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, and pull, with good manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (50 Pounds)
  • Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment (heat, noise, etc.)
  • Exposure to high noise levels and varying temperatures

  • PPE & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots).
  • Hazard Awareness: Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions.
  • Standards: Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training.
  • Organization: Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents.
