The Implementation Consultant - SAP Business One leads the deployment and optimization of SAP B1, ensuring client success through effective project management and system configuration.
The Implementation Consultant – SAP Business One plays a key role in helping customers achieve success through the deployment, configuration, and optimization of SAP Business One and complementary solutions. You’ll work directly with clients to analyze business processes, implement best practices, and deliver solutions that drive measurable improvement across operations.
This role combines functional expertise, technical curiosity, and customer engagement. You’ll manage SAP B1 implementations end-to-end—guiding customers through planning, configuration, testing, training, and go-live—while collaborating closely with our client's internal teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP Business One implementations and upgrades, ensuring customers realize the full value of their ERP system.
- Perform detailed business process analysis and map requirements to software configuration.
- Configure and integrate SAP Business One with complementary systems such as inventory management, payments, user portals, and business process automation.
- Facilitate testing and validation with internal and client teams.
- Manage project deliverables, timelines, and communication to ensure successful outcomes.
- Provide expert troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer support throughout implementation.
- Collaborate with sales and management to identify and scope future project opportunities within existing accounts.
- Stay current on SAP Business One product releases, ecosystem tools, and new technologies.
- Contribute to internal process improvement and organizational learning.
- Maintain the highest levels of professionalism, customer service, and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Strong technical background in ERP systems, ideally with hands-on experience implementing SAP Business One.
- 2+ years of software implementation experience in areas such as accounting, distribution, manufacturing, eCommerce, EDI, warehouse management, integration, or process automation.
- Familiarity with SQL query development is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in accounting, business, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate requirements into system configurations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and client relationships effectively.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Positive, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement.
- High integrity, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
