About Persona

Persona is the configurable identity platform built for businesses in a digital-first world. Verifying individuals and organizations is harder — but more important — than ever, with AI enabling fraudsters to launch sophisticated accounts at scale and regulations evolving rapidly.

We’ve built Persona to support practically every use case and industry — that’s why we’re able to serve a wide range of leading companies. For example, Instacart relies on Persona to verify shoppers who onboard onto their platform before delivering groceries to your doorstep. Meanwhile, OpenAI relies on Persona to keep bad actors out, protecting one of the world’s most powerful AI platforms from large-scale abuse in a time when AI is reshaping the way we work and live.

We’re growing rapidly and looking for exceptional people to join us!

About the Role

As an Implementation Engineer, you’ll partner directly with customers to design and deliver solutions that bring their vision to life on Persona. You’ll guide them from kickoff through launch, translating complex requirements into scalable implementations that drive real business outcomes.

You’ll serve as both a trusted technical advisor and problem-solver, helping customers navigate integrations, troubleshoot challenges, and unlock the full value of Persona. Every project you lead will play a critical role in shaping how customers experience Persona, ensuring they achieve value quickly and are set up for long-term success.

What you'll do at Persona

  • Serve as the customer’s primary technical advisor through implementation - understanding their needs and deploying effective solutions.

  • Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects across a wide range of technical scopes and customer profiles.

  • Lead implementation kickoffs, discovery sessions, platform training, and escalation calls.

  • Design, implement, and deploy complex workflows and solutions that address customers’ compliance and integration needs.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to surface customer feedback and influence roadmap priorities.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Support to ensure seamless transitions for customers at every key milestone.

What you'll bring to Persona

  • 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Implementation, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, or Technical PM).

  • Experience with APIs, web development, and scripting (e.g., Python, SQL, Ruby, or bash).

  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong collaboration with Engineering, Product, Sales and Support teams

  • Proven project management skills and a bias for action.

  • Bonus: Experience in compliance, identity verification, or fraud prevention.

Full-time Employee Benefits and Perks

For full-time employees (excluding internship and contractor opportunities), Persona offers a wide range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision, 3% 401(k) contribution, unlimited PTO, quarterly mental health days, family planning benefits, professional development stipend, wellness benefits, among others. While we believe competitive compensation and benefits are a critical aspect of you deciding to join us, we do hope you consider why our core values and culture are right for you.
