Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a positive, self-motivated professional with experience in project management, IT compliance, cybersecurity, IT audit, or GRC software implementation. The Implementation Project Lead will be responsible for effectively managing all aspects of Optro’s implementations from sales handoff to system go-live.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep knowledge of our product, and help customers through the implementation lifecycle from kickoff, through design and user acceptance testing

  • Gather and interpret customer requirements across compliance, IT compliance, and cybersecurity workflows, and configure Optro solutions to meet customer needs.

  • Serve as a project manager for small, medium, and large Optro implementation projects

  • Advise customers on implementation best practices related to compliance frameworks and controls, risk assessments, evidence collection, issue management, and program operationalization.

  • Maintain project status and manage client and internal resources to complete project deliverables

Attributes for a Successful Candidate
  • 3+ years of experience in IT compliance, cybersecurity, IT audit, internal audit, external audit, risk management, or GRC, with direct involvement in implementing, configuring, or rolling out audit, risk, compliance, or cybersecurity systems

  • Experience with compliance frameworks or security standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI, HIPAA, or similar frameworks is a plus

  • Strong consultative skills, with the ability to guide customers through complex requirements, ask thoughtful questions, help them clarify objectives, and translate their needs into practical implementation decisions

  • Ability to build trust quickly with customers and guide them with confidence, patience, and sound judgment

  • Comfortable and thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize work, which requires constant learning and adaptability

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with emphasis on phone, email, and online communications

  • Ability to connect at all levels of the organization using diplomatic communication, influence, and negotiation skills

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage own workload with limited oversight

  • Intermediate to expert Excel skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field is a plus
