About the Role:

The Implementation Project Manager, Benefit Solutions is responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of employer implementation projects from initiation through successful go-live. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring project milestones are met, decisions are captured and executed, and risks are effectively managed and mitigated. The ideal candidate will bring prior implementation experience and a strong understanding of employee benefits, with specific expertise in pharmacy benefit management (PBM) and prescription processing operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end implementation process for employer clients, ensuring all timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with employers, facilitating regular project meetings, collecting key decisions, and ensuring alignment between internal teams and client expectations.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide ongoing reporting on project status, milestones, risks, and mitigation plans to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Partner closely with internal teams across operations, IT, data integration, analytics, clinical, and client services to ensure seamless implementation execution.

  • Proactively identify potential risks and barriers, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as appropriate to ensure timely resolution.

  • Contribute to the enhancement of implementation processes and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in project or implementation management, preferably within a healthcare, PBM, or employee benefits environment.

  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder implementation projects.

  • Familiarity with pharmacy benefit design, claims processing workflows, and data exchange requirements (eligibility, formulary, accumulators, etc.).

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including experience interfacing with employer clients and senior leaders.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, or MS Project).

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or risks.

  • Client-focused with strong relationship management capabilities.

  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Team player who collaborates effectively across departments.

At GoodRx, pay ranges are determined based on work locations and may vary based on where the successful candidate is hired. The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Please contact your recruiter for additional information.

San Francisco and Seattle Offices:

$108,000.00 - $173,000.00

New York Office:

$99,000.00 - $158,000.00

Santa Monica Office:

$90,000.00 - $144,000.00

Other Office Locations:

$81,000.00 - $130,000.00
