Position Description:
The Implementation Specialist at LBMX works directly with existing and new clients to adapt our software systems to meet the client’s needs. As an implementation project manager, your duties are to lead the installation and customization of LBMX software offerings to meet the client’s technical needs.
You will work closely with the client to implement their vision by collecting data, customizing features, defining and executing project objectives, providing training/demos, and will be responsible for providing the highest level of customer experience through excellent service and efficient implementation of LBMX software offerings in a fast-paced, solutions-focused environment. This role requires a self-starter mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a process-oriented manner while maintaining a people-first, customer-service approach.

This is an on-site position at our London, Ontario, office. Must be able to legally work in Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients in the implementation phase of the project, requiring strong client management and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Execute technical and business objectives based on the scope of the implementation project, to deliver high-quality standards and exceed client expectations through solutions-based thinking.
  • Assess individual client needs to customize the project to fit their unique objective, leveraging both technical understanding and business/process insight.
  • Review pre-existing client data, design custom interfaces, modify metrics, and create custom reports, including scenarios where an understanding of accounting or financial data is beneficial.
  • Conduct customized training sessions/demonstrations via online webinars or in person, when possible, requiring strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Develop project plans, maintain accurate project status, and provide regular updates to stakeholders, applying a structured, process-driven approach.
  • Install, configure, and maintain LBMX’s suite of products, services, and systems.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of LBMX’s suite of products, services, and systems.
  • Manage multiple customer onboarding projects simultaneously from start to finish.
  • Investigate and/or escalate customers’ technical issues and ensure resolution using analytical problem-solving and solution-first thinking.
  • Work closely with Sales and Support to ensure a seamless handoff and set reasonable expectations and timelines regarding project implementation.
  • Work with the Development team to provide customer feedback, helping to continuously provide relevant and high-impact products for clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skill Requirements:   

  • Customer Service and Client/Account Management experience, ideally in a B2B environment with direct customer interaction.
  • Experience installing and configuring software systems.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including strong presentation and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Excellent project management skills with a process-oriented and solutions-driven approach.
  • Strong level of ownership, autonomy, and drive; a self-starter who proactively seeks solutions and leverages self-help resources when needed.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • General understanding of business processes; accounting knowledge or comfort with financial data is an asset.

  • Experience in a SaaS organization

Experience Required:

  • Post-secondary Education (college or university).
  • 2+ years of experience as an implementation specialist or technical project manager.
