Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Indirect Procurement Partner to join our growing operations team in Santa Clara. As a core member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing delivery of lab equipment, software, and enterprise IT and services that support the NPI and engineering of our networking hardware switches. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, corporate and supplier partners to ensure indirect needs are met at competitive costs and with timely delivery.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Source and issue purchase orders for indirect categories (lab equipment, software, corporate IT and services, etc.)
  • Partner with internal customers to determine requirements and conduct RFXs
  • Select suppliers for the best combination of functionality, quality, cost, and availability
  • Escalate to suppliers for order commit dates and delivery times
  • Drive cost reduction efforts through strategic sourcing and vendor negotiation
  • Maintain accurate part data and order history in PLM and ERP systems (e.g., Arena, NetSuite)
  • Develop subject matter expertise on key categories

Qualifications
Strong problem-solving skills, quick learning, and excitement for a collaborative startup environment are the most important traits we're looking for. The list below outlines some qualifications that will help but aren’t essential to thriving here:

  • 3–6 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing in hardware manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise IT, engineering lab equipment, or software licensing
  • Familiarity with NetSuite or equivalent systems
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
