Client is looking for a senior, hands-on Influencer Marketing Lead to own influencer marketing. This is a 0→1 and 1→10 role - you’ll design influencer strategy, build and manage influencer relationships globally, and turn influencers into a repeatable, scalable acquisition channel. While influencer marketing is the core focus, you’ll also work closely with our Growth and Product teams on search, paid acquisition, and AI-era discovery.

This role is ideal for someone who has run influencer programs in the US (early stage/SaaS preferred).

What You’ll Own
Influencer Marketing (Primary Focus)
  • Design and own global influencer strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Identify, onboard, and manage influencers across tiers
  • Build long-term influencer partnerships, not one-off posts
  • Own outreach, negotiation, contracting, timelines, and delivery
  • Develop clear influencer briefs that translate value into native, high-performing content
  • Build systems for tracking performance: CAC, retention, assisted conversions, and brand lift
  • Experiment aggressively with formats, influencers, and narratives - double down on what works
Creator-Led GTM & Distribution
  • Turn influencers into a durable GTM channel (not just a marketing experiment)
  • Work closely with founders and Growth to align influencers with launches, features, and narratives
  • Explore non-obvious partnerships: affiliates, rev share, co-created products, education, communities

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
