Job Description

  • 4+ year’s hands-on experience in development in Informatica 8.x and above.
  • Should have experience on at least two end to end full DW project life cycles.
  • Strong working knowledge of Data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, OLAP processing.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of system development, understanding of emerging technologies, and familiarity with current processes/methodologies
  • Experience in Auditing and Error handling framework for ETL architecture.
  • Experience in auditing and error handling frameworks using Informatica.
  • Experience with normalized designs and DataMart
  • Experience in performance tuning of Informatica mapping.
  • Experience in integrating ETL with third party tools.
  • Lead ETL design based on requirement gathered while working on cross functional project team.
  • Administer and developed Informatica workflows, mappings and sessions to load large data volumes from multiple sources into enterprise data warehouse.
  • Support ETL cycles including production issue and environment quality issue.
  • Prepare technical documentation of product sub systems.
  • Performance tune ETL code in a high volume environment.
  • Resolved data problem discovered by quality QA and developed solution to the problem.
  • Define/improve processes for development and support functions.
  • Ability to write and understand UNIX shell scripting, Perl.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
  • Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
  • Must have strong Writing, Communication and Analytical Skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
