Summary: This position is responsible for IT infrastructure including computer and network operations, technical support, system administration, telecommunications, training and projects related to these areas. Establishes procedures, provides services and ensures sufficient systems capacity for organizational needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Support systems and technology to be used across the enterprise.
- Provide leadership and planning of information technology required to meet business objectives.
- Obtain IT equipment and services required to meet business objectives.
- Manage and recruit IT Staff, prepare and manage operating budgets.
- Work with business units and departments on technology implementation.
- Technical skills and ability in related and appropriate IT disciplines.
- Provide support for related internal and external audits
- Microsoft Technologies product knowledge
- Familiarity with Unix and heterogeneous networks
- Technical and managerial experience in LAN, WAN, and telecommunications.
- Related technical and managerial experience in a similar environment
- Knowledge of systems planning and design techniques.
- Project management and related techniques, so as to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
- Work with department and business units on continuous process improvement
- Related technical and managerial experience in a similar environment
- Create and implement a comprehensive systems monitoring approach for servers, storage, databases, firewalls, and network.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises 2-3 employees in the IT Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:
- MA, MS, MBA and or BS, BA or degree in related field required
- 5 or more years of experience in related environment
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
- Requires considerable knowledge of: modern office methods and procedures; modern business English, spelling and arithmetic; the operations of common office machines and equipment.
- Requires considerable ability to: use good judgment in making routine decisions in accordance with existing laws, ordinances, regulations and departmental policies and procedures; establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with departmental personnel and customers.
