Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) Product Support organization is currently seeking an Information Technology Manager to join the team in San Diego, CA; Long Beach, CA; or Seal Beach, CA.
This position will lead our software development teams supporting Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) teams. The Statement of Work (SOW) spans all aspects of software development lifecycle including large scale agile development, system maintenance, production operations and airline support.
Our IPC team provides the platforms for the data creation and delivery of the IPC products to Toolbox Horizon for publishing to the Airline customers. The IPC data is utilized by the airline mechanics when servicing Boeing aircraft.
The leader will be responsible for leading the IT teams to maintain and new development for the IPC suite of applications. This leader should be a high-energy, passionate manager who has an interest in helping our IT teams modernize, support and maintain compliant software. The leader must have a passion for building a strong "People Focused" organization as well as hands-on experience to define, de-risk and execute IT solutions. The leader should have experience enabling highly functional Agile teams and deployment via continuous integration and continuous delivery Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) in a compliance driven landscape with multiple stakeholders. The leader will be responsible for developers located in specialize teams across the United States and India.
This leadership position will be critical for ensuring our continued focus on the safety of the flying public through understanding the domain, the products & processes and our customer expectations for safely maintaining their Boeing fleet. Ability to engage and maintain a positive relationship with our BCA Customer Support leaders will be a critical success factor for this position. Being transparent will be key to keeping that positive relationship.
Equally important for this role is the ability to work with our global teams. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring we are listening to our collective team and actively working to remove roadblocks which interfere with their work.

- 3+ years of experience with software development projects, systems projects, and/or requirements analysis
