About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps/Infra Manager to lead our infrastructure, automation, and deployment efforts for our cutting-edge software products. You will be responsible for defining and implementing robust DevOps strategies, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud infrastructure.

As a key leader, you will drive a culture of automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement, collaborating closely with development, security, and operations teams to enhance system performance and developer productivity.

Responsibilities:
  • Leadership:

  • Be part of defining the DevOps strategy that is aligned with the organization’s vision and objectives.

  • Develop strategies for enhancing developer productivity & efficiency.

  • Lead cloud & infrastructure transformation.

  • Champion security & compliance (DevSecOps).

  • Drive reliability & observability at Scale.

  • Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement.

  • Optimize Costs & Resource Utilization (FinOps).

  • Cross-Functional collaboration & stakeholder engagement.

  • Team Management:

  • Recruit and onboard talented Devops/SRE professionals.

  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of Devops/SRE engineers.

  • Manage teams for multi-timezone support.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

  • Conduct performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.

Technical Expertise
  • Cloud Adoption & Architecture:

  • Establish AWS as the primary cloud platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Define a cloud-native architecture approach, leveraging AWS services.

  • Promote microservices & containerization to improve scalability and maintainability.

  • Define and standardize cloud native container registry.

  • Infrastructure as Code (IAC):

  • Define the IaC Vision & Roadmap

  • Select & Standardize IaC Tools

  • Implement Governance & Security in IaC (Policy as Code)

  • Drive Automation & Self-Service Infrastructure

  • CI/CD:

  • Define the CI/CD vision & roadmap

  • Standardize CI/CD tooling & architecture

  • Automate build & testing processes (Continuous Integration - CI)

  • Implement progressive & secure deployment strategies (Continuous Deployment - CD like Blue-Green, Canary)

  • Improve observability & incident response.

  • Observability:

  • Define observability vision & roadmap.

  • Implement the three Pillars (Logging, Metrics and Tracing) of observability.

  • Enable proactive incident detection & response mechanisms.

  • Optimize cost & performance of observability tools.

  • Compliance:

  • Define compliance goals & frameworks.

  • Automate security & compliance Monitoring.

  • Data protection & privacy compliance.

  • Audit readiness & continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or Infrastructure roles, with at least 2+ years in a team management position.

  • Strong experience with AWS cloud platform and container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS).

  • Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.

  • Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.

  • Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks.

  • Strong knowledge of ISO and SOC2 compliances.

  • Hands-on experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Go.

  • Knowledge of security best practices and DevSecOps principles.

  • Experience in Agile methodologies.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills to drive cross-functional collaboration.

  • Proven experience in building and leading high-performing Devops teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

  • Certifications from AWS on DevOps methodology.

  • Experience in managing multi-timezone support.

  • Experience working in B2B and building products from scratch would be a big plus.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered infrastructure tools and conceptswould be a great advantage.
