Schrödinger seeks an Infrastructure Developer to join us in our mission to transform the discovery of therapeutics and materials.
As a member of our Infrastructure team, you’ll play a key role in supporting scientific testing and scientific validation that runs at scale. Our strength is science, but we couldn’t have advanced scientific innovation without a set of foundational engineering principles. A robust underlying technical platform is critical to the success of the company.Who will love this job:
- A cloud computing pro at the AWS associate level or equivalent
- A Linux enthusiast familiar with either Windows or macOS (or willing to learn more)
- An Infrastructure as Code proponent with experience migrating legacy infrastructure to management with tools like Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible
- A continuous integration specialist (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or buildbot) proficient at building, maintaining, improving, and debugging workflows
- An excellent verbal and written communicator
- Create and maintain infrastructure for large-scale scientific testing on the cloud
- Automate build, deployment, and testing workflows to drive drug discovery and materials development forward
- Provide a stable platform that enables the work of scientific software developers

Estimated base salary range: $105,000 - $230,000. Actual compensation package is dependent on a number of factors, including, for example, experience, education, degrees held, market data, and business needs.
