We are growing and looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to help accelerate our revenue engine. If you’re driven, curious, and eager to build a career in B2B sales, this role is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and make a measurable impact.
Role Overview
The Inside Sales Representative is a key contributor to Smart Care’s revenue growth strategy. This role focuses on identifying, contacting, and qualifying prospective customers within target markets. Through proactive phone and email outreach, the ISR builds relationships, uncovers customer needs, schedules qualified meetings for the field sales team, and generates work orders.
Success is measured by Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and outreach activity. The ISR works closely with both sales and marketing teams and plays a critical role in pipeline development.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and engage decision‑makers through outbound phone and email outreach
- Qualify leads based on need, budget, timeline, and fit; hand off qualified opportunities to field sales
- Schedule meetings and appointments for field sales representatives and generate work orders
- Clearly articulate Smart Care’s value proposition and handle basic objections
- Maintain accurate activity logs, lead statuses, and notes within CRM and sales tools
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to support campaigns and targeted initiatives
- Provide feedback to improve messaging, scripts, and outreach strategies
- Meet or exceed SQL targets and daily/weekly activity goals
Qualifications
- Professional, results‑driven, and motivated to grow a career in sales
- Comfortable making outbound calls and communicating via email
- Strong listening, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- Positive, team‑oriented attitude
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred OR 1–2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, lead generation, or cold calling
- B2B services sales experience is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales/marketing tools, and/or Microsoft Office
- Understanding of the sales funnel and lead qualification concept
