How you will make an impact:

Reporting to the Manager Inside Sales this position is responsible for contacting existing, inactive and prospective customers in the pharmaceutical, biotech, microelectronics and chemical industries. Perform outgoing calls managing existing business and generating new sales. The Inside Sales Specialist will recommend products and applications to markets identified above. This Inside Sales Specialist will proactively contact customers and prospects using the phone to gather information and increase sales.

  • The Inside Sales Specialist handles our general sales channel customers and will grow our business through inbound/outbound sales
  • Generate and provide pricing and quotes to customers
  • Actively seeking prospecting and lead opportunities, establishing strong customer relationships, building customer solutions, and closing sales with new customer
  • Solve customer needs from lead generation activities
  • Collaborate with and leverage internal and external sales, technical, and service partners to build opportunity pipeline and close sales

This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Technical Degree or equivalent experience in science / technical field required
  • 5-10+ years of technical sales experience
  • Strong Telephone / Email / Video Conferencing skills, comfortable talking to customers
  • Demonstrated success in developing/prospecting new business
  • Knowledge and experience with business software applications including MS Outlook Suite (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel,) and virtual communication tools required.

US BASE PAY SCALE $70,500 - $80,000

The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
