Overview

We're seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to create e-learning courses and teach live virtual classes on a fixed term, contract basis. As an Instructional Design Contractor you'll create a combination of HoneyBook product education and business education content that helps independent business owners grow their businesses.

Scope of Services
  • Create interactive and engaging SCORM-based e-learning courses
  • Facilitate live virtual classes that are both engaging and interactive with the audience
  • Create compelling short-form videos that educate and inspire learners to adopt features
Desired Qualifications & Experience
  • 5 years experience developing SCORM-based e-learning courses
  • 5 years experience facilitating engaging and interactive live virtual classes
  • 3+ years experience creating compelling educational videos and product walkthroughs
  • Experience creating business education for independent business owners
  • Experience with instructional design and adult learning principles
  • Familiarity using AI tools; bonus if you’ve created educational content about AI
Project Duration
  • This is a six month contract role offering up to 40 hours of work per week.  This posting makes no assurances of an employee - employer relationship now or in the future. 
  • Strong preference for individuals located in the San Francisco Bay Area to facilitate in-person collaboration as needed, in our San Francisco office.
