About the role:
As an Instructional Designer at SEON, you will help shape how our teams learn, adopt, and succeed, specifically focused on revenue teams. This role will primarily support sales readiness, building learning experiences that improve onboarding, ramp time, product knowledge, and ongoing performance across our sales organization, while also contributing to customer education initiatives as needed.

This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys turning complex information into engaging, effective learning experiences. You'll partner closely with sales leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify capability gaps, create scalable learning solutions, and measure the effectiveness of your work. If you are excited by building from scratch, influencing enablement strategy, and helping teams perform at a higher level in a fast-growing SaaS environment, this role offers meaningful scope and visibility.

What you'll do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain learning solutions using the ADDIE model (or comparable instructional design frameworks) to ensure content is grounded in a clear needs analysis and measurable objectives.

  • Select appropriate instructional strategies based on audience, content, and business goals in order to build eLearning courses, job aids, videos, assessments, and other learning assets using Articulate Rise and other authoring tools as needed

  • Design and deliver training that supports sales readiness, including onboarding/ramp programs, product and process training, and ongoing skill-building for SEON's sales teams.

  • Conduct learning needs assessments by collaborating with sales leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify skill and knowledge gaps.

  • Apply adult learning theory and instructional design best practices to create content that drives retention and behavior change.

  • Support customer education efforts as needed, developing customer-facing learning content that helps SEON customers adopt and succeed with the product.

  • Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to gather content, validate accuracy, and ensure learning materials reflect current product, process, and sales messaging.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using feedback, assessment data, and business metrics, and iterate on content accordingly.

  • Maintain and update existing learning content as products, processes, and sales methodologies evolve.

  • Manage multiple learning projects concurrently, working independently to move learning products from concept through development, review, and deployment.

What you'll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience applying the ADDIE model (or similar instructional design frameworks such as SAM) to design and develop learning solutions.

  • Hands-on experience building courses in Articulate Rise.

  • Background in or working knowledge of sales enablement, including understanding of sales cycles, ramp/onboarding programs, and what drives sales readiness.

  • Background in or working knowledge of customer education, including designing learning content that helps external customers or users adopt and succeed with a product.

  • Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design best practices.

  • Experience conducting learning needs assessments and translating findings into effective learning strategies.

  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.

  • Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working closely with SMEs, sales leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Experience working in a SaaS or technology company's Learning & Development or Sales Enablement function preferred.
