Intermediate MPE Engineer


Company: TeamFicient

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $800 - $1,200 (Negotiable for highly qualified candidates)

Work Schedule:

  • Time Range: Between 7 AM and 7 PM CST

  • Working Hours: 9 hours per day (8 working hours + 1-hour break)

  • Days Off: TBD (2 days per week)

About the Role

We're looking for an Intermediate MPE Engineer with 5+ years of experience in the design and BIM coordination of Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical systems. You'll create detailed MEP models and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD, perform clash detection with Navisworks, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, code-compliant project delivery.


Experience with U.S.-based projects and knowledge of U.S. codes and construction practices are a strong plus, but not required.


Core Responsibilities

MEP Modeling and Documentation

  • Develop detailed MEP models and construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.

  • Support permit and construction documentation processes.

  • Maintain organized BIM files and project documentation.

Coordination and Clash Detection

  • Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.

  • Coordinate with architectural, structural, and engineering teams to ensure designs comply with project requirements and applicable codes.


Candidate Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in MEP engineering and BIM coordination.

  • Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP (mandatory) and AutoCAD.

  • Experience with Navisworks clash detection and coordination workflows.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Good to Haves

  • Experience with U.S.-based projects and familiarity with U.S. codes and construction practices.

System Requirements

  • Desktop or laptop with Intel Core i7 or higher / AMD Ryzen 7 or higher.

  • NVIDIA RTX 3060 or higher (Ampere or Ada Lovelace architecture).

  • Minimum 32 GB RAM.
