Source, evaluate, clean, label, and organize diverse, high-quality data inputs for a proprietary model. Explore web sources, validate signal and relevance, and help improve processes that turn raw information into usable datasets.
Content Team: Sourcing & Systems
Compensation
We’ve built a proprietary model—and it’s powered by real, human data. It’s the kind of stuff that actually reflects how people express taste, and themselves, through products, music, books, food, and travel.
As an intern on the Content team, you’ll help find, organize, and prepare those inputs so they can be used by our system. That means tracking down interesting, non-obvious data sources, figuring out what’s useful (and what isn’t), and turning messy information into something structured and usable for experimentation and users.
You’ll spend time:
- Exploring different corners of the internet (and beyond) to uncover high-quality data sources
- Evaluating and organizing inputs based on relevance, clarity, and signal
- Cleaning, labeling, and validating data so it’s reliable and consistent
- Helping improve the processes that turn raw information into usable datasets
This role is hands-on, detail-oriented work at the start of the Bestomer system—where good inputs make everything downstream better.
If you like figuring out how things work, enjoy organizing chaos, and want to see your work directly shape a real product, you’ll fit right in. The model genuinely doesn’t move forward without this work!
The base pay range for this role is $25 – $25 per hour.
