Seeking a social media manager who can improve our online presence and engage with our audience humorously. Must be able to critique our current social media strategy creatively and humorously.
The summary above was generated by AI

At Composio, we are building infrastructure that allows agents to communicate with the tools you use for work including Github, Gmail, Notion, Salesforce, etc. We are a small team of engineers wrangling problems from context to search, that help us provide the most capable bridge between your agents and your tools.

We raised a $25M Series A from Lightspeed with some incredible angels like Guillermo Rauch (CEO of Vercel), Dharmesh Shah (CTO of Hubspot), Gokul Rajaram. Beginning of this year we 3x our ARR, our customers range from your friends in the YC batch to Wabi, Glean, Zoom and many more.

What you'll do?
  • run Composio on the internet without making us sound like a generic B2B SaaS account

  • turn launches, bugs, demos, customer stories, and founder chaos into posts people actually want to read

  • live on X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Discord, and wherever agent builders are arguing this week

  • work with product and engineering to find the weird technical details that make good distribution

  • measure what works, kill what does not, and build repeatable social/content loops

  • roast our current socials responsibly and then make them better

"Must haves"

if you are very good, nothing is a must per-se

  • internet native

    • you understand reply culture, dev twitter, AI discourse, and why most brand accounts are unbearable

    • you can be funny without being cringe

  • taste - you know the difference between a sharp post, a try-hard post, and a post that should stay in drafts

  • technical curiosity - you can understand enough of the product to make the content true

  • operator - you can ship every day without needing a six-week content calendar

  • human - you build trust and admit what you do not know

Optional
  • has grown an account, community, newsletter, or weird internet project

  • has built with AI tools or agents

  • has survived a community note and learned something useful from it

How to apply

DM @karanvaidya6, @cryogenicplanet, @itsaqd, or @composio with a roast of our current socials and one example of what you would post instead.

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
