Remote internship supporting cybersecurity and technology services: provide technical support, assist in development and implementation of cybersecurity solutions, collaborate on software projects, contribute to documentation, and learn industry best practices and emerging threats under senior mentorship.
This is a remote position.
We are seeking qualified and committed interns or entry-level resources to join our dynamic team at MasonBlue. As part of our cybersecurity and technology services organization, you will assist in supporting day-to-day customer needs, technical services, and development areas.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of cybersecurity solutions and technologies.
- Collaborate with senior team members to learn and apply best practices in cybersecurity operations.
- Participate in project teams to support software development, testing, and deployment efforts.
- Contribute to documentation efforts, including technical specifications, user guides, and operational procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, cybersecurity threats, and emerging technologies to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field OR recent graduate with a relevant degree.
- Strong commitment to learning and developing technical skills in cybersecurity and technology services.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, networking concepts, and software development fundamentals is a plus.
- Familiarity with programming languages (Python, Java, etc.) and cybersecurity tools is advantageous.
