Internships are limited to a sixteen (16) week period of time. Student must be enrolled in an internship course. Substantiation of the internship hours fulfilled will be provided to the academic institution for academic credit. The Human Resource department will work closely with the academic advisor and/or course instructor to provide the necessary documentation to the educational institution as outlined in the institution’s official internship program.

Interns must pass a pre-screening procedure with the City of Taylor and adhere to all City of Taylor policies while onsite as an intern. No future guarantee of employment upon completion of the unpaid internship is extended.
