The Content Strategist Intern will have the opportunity to help lead and define the future of content strategy at Addepar. We are looking for someone who possesses a clear vision of the future of user experience, and will help organize, shape and create cohesive messaging and storytelling.

As a qualified candidate, you’re a strong writer with an interest in the intersection of language and user experience. You are able to work collaboratively and incorporate feedback into your process. You are succinct, clear, engaging and you understand how to apply brand tone and voice to corporate messaging. You thrive on problem-solving to meet the needs of a rapidly growing company while maintaining profound empathy for our community and wanting to provide the best experience for them. You understand the importance of grounding your decisions in research, data and best practices. 

You’ll have the opportunity to work on a real project while receiving guidance and feedback from senior members of the Marketing team.

Intern Program Dates: May 24 - Aug 13, 2021

Responsibilities

• Advise marketing team on how to build engaged audiences and think “customer first” to deliver the right content at the right time
• Review and copy-edit short-form content including articles, blog posts, web copy, landing pages, in-depth guides, customer stories and more 
• Deep dive into content analytics to gain insights on conversion and opportunities for improvement 
• Share knowledge of current and emerging content marketing, social media and content delivery trends
• Identify a strong writing partner for Addepar
• Develop and manage our editorial calendar collaborate with other teams in the company 

Qualifications

• Preferred Major: Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Creative writing
• Strong project management skills; deadline driven and able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities 
• Experience creating digital content and social media community management
• Excellent writing skills and communication skills
• Creative thinker with an eye for social media trends and compelling content
• Organized and articulate, with impeccable attention to detail; strong interpersonal skills 
• Love for the creative process including brainstorming
• Sharp eye for good copy; copy editing experience a strong plus
• You are passionate about learning, improving your craft, following industry trends, etc. 
• BONUS: experience with search engine optimization
