Position: Product Management Intern (Summer 2021)

Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing product management activities focused on cloud security. As a key member of the product management team, you will work closely with product management, sales engineering, development and test engineering, and product marketing to deliver initiatives to accomplish technical sales enablement, enable customer knowledge, drive product technology direction, and perform competitive analysis.

This position reports directly to the Director of Product Management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop technical slides, technical industry white papers, technical vertical white papers, solution guides, and technical guides.
• Develop security focused training and certifications for internal sales engineering and field teams (CSM, TAM) with deep dives on products, technology and trends.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and create hands-on assessments with in-depth technical analysis and SWAT.
• Perform competitive analysis and differentiation for Zscaler security products.
• Work directly with customers to ensure success during early stage product evaluation, testing, trials, deployments in labs, and proof of concept environments.
• Present and demonstrate product at customer briefings.
• Produce technical components of global launches, announcements, and marketing campaigns.
• Writing, editing and publishing content such as technical eBooks, website technical content, and external technical blog articles

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Pursuing MS/MBA, preference for specialization in product management. 
• 2+ years of technical experience in security
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• "Roll up sleeves and do what it takes" attitude and strong team player that is not afraid to present new, creative ideas
