Our Internal Communications Manager will play a crucial role in helping us achieve all of these goals. 

Reddit is looking for an exceptional Internal Communications Manager to join our growing Communications team! In this role, you’ll be instrumental in developing and executing our internal comms strategies—to keep our employees informed, act as a partner to Reddit’s executives and teams across the company, and ultimately help maintain our transparent, inclusive, uniquely Reddit culture as we grow. 

Responsibilities:

• Drive strategy, plan content, and oversee execution for our company All-Hands and weekly all-staff communications
• Partner closely with Reddit’s executives and team leads to ensure our employees are well-informed on company strategy and key initiatives
• Write employee and company communications on behalf of executives 
• Partner closely with our People & Culture team in particular to help employee programs and announcements succeed
• Draft, edit, and consult on key employee-facing communications (across email, docs, slide decks, videos, live VC, Reddit posts, and other mediums)
• Proactively identify issues—whether aspects of our internal comms that are ineffective or areas of employee concern and confusion—and put forth solutions
• Help the company scale its communications channels as we grow, internationalize, and become more distributed
• Hire and manage Internal Comms associate

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years relevant experience as an internal communications specialist (experience at a high-growth, international company strongly preferred)
• Phenomenal writing and editing skills
• Proven track record of successfully setting and scaling internal communications programs
• Experience partnering with senior executives to craft strategic messaging
• Experience partnering with HR teams
• Passion for creating a transparent, inclusive, and empathetic workplace culture through internal comms that would never fail a CAPTCHA test
• Knowledge of the media and technology sectors and the key policy issues affecting the internet
• Understanding of Reddit’s ecosystem (and eagerness to learn the ins and outs of our product, community, and company quickly)
• Design and video-editing skills (e.g., Google Slides, Keynote, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro) a plus
