We are seeking a motivated Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic approach to Inventory Control. You must be willing to match our fast-paced cadence and thrive with rapid change.  

As an Inventory Specialist you are aiming to always keep inventory accuracy at 100% while executing daily requests. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate transactions of all hardware in and out of Ursa Major facilities. You will support basic ERP transactions, escalate any identified nonconformances and ensure hardware is delivered safely on time, and with clear traceability within the facility. ERP accuracy and improvement is our continual goal which will drive many projects you are tasked with.

The right person for this role will be passionate about communicating with, supporting, and serving others. They must enjoy working with various teams to continuously improve processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily inventory transactions.
  • Assemble material kits.
  • Perform daily cycle counts.
  • Assist with periodic full physical inventory counts.
  • Identify low stock levels, do preliminary investigation into shortage and escalate when necessary.
  • As time allows, support Demand Planners with daily tasks to keep schedules.
  • Execute engineering approved edits to MOs within ERP.
  • Assist teams on projects and improvements.
  • Cross train with Shipping & Receiving Clerks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Able to lift and transport parts and tools weighing up to 40lbs.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of applicable inventory experience.

Preferred Experience: 

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous work experience with juggling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • ERP experience. (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Katana, Sage, etc.)
  • Associate degree or higher preferred.

Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $22.70-$28.40 per hour, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The compensation range for this role is intentionally wide as we are evaluating individuals based on their unique experience and abilities to fit our needs.
